Meet NorthTec’s Disability Services Coordinator

Jill Thomson

Jill Thomson is NorthTec’s Disability Services Coordinator. Jill was first trained as a teacher of the deaf and was a Foundation Studies tutor at NorthTec. The services she can provide to students help them enjoy their learning experience at NorthTec.

When students come to her, Jill takes the time to discuss their needs and finds out the best way to accommodate them.

“I feel privileged and lucky that I have this job as it provides assistance when they least expect it,” Jill says. “To see them pass their courses is the icing on the cake.”
