Health and Wellbeing support is available to all ākonga, across our region.

Clinic Location: D380, Raumanga Campus, Whangārei

CONFIDENTIALITY - Anything you discuss with a counsellor or nurse is confidential; no one else receives any details about your discussions without your permission.

Health

Nurse Services are available in-person:

  • Raumanga Campus: Mon/Tues/Thurs 9am to 3.30pm
  • Dyer Street Campus: Wed 9.30am to 3.30pm

Remote services - email, phone and zoom are also available as per the hours above.

  • Hearing and Vision Testing
  • Accident Care
  • Wellness and Health Promotion
  • Lifestyle advice (e.g. Stress Management, Quit Smoking)
  • Referral to a Doctor or other Health Professional
  • Emergency Contraceptive Pill
  • Contraceptive Advice
  • Pregnancy Tests
  • Cervical Smears
  • Free Condoms and STI checks

Talk through any problems that you are experiencing, such as study or training stress, relationship problems, anxiety or depression. All services are confidential.

Counselling Services are available in-person:

  • Raumanga Campus: Mon to Fri 9am to 3.30pm, at the Health Centre.
  • Dyer Street Campus appointments are available on request.
